Goal
This guide helps a new Creator get their profile, first machine, and quote response rhythm ready to go live.
Setup
- Complete your profile photo, location, and specialty summary.
- Add at least one machine: technology, work envelope, supported materials, and rate card.
- Select only the materials you can actually produce across processes like FDM, CNC, or PCB.
- Clarify delivery, packaging, and communication preferences.
Operating Rhythm
When an RFQ arrives, evaluate the file, tolerance, lead time, and material availability together. For accepted work, keep production states updated and do not delay photo proof.
Quality Bar
The customer expects the quality you quoted. If tolerance or surface expectations are unclear, ask before production starts.
Troubleshooting
If the machine or material is not available, rejecting the RFQ is healthier than overcommitting. It protects customer expectations and lets another Creator take the slot.
